Dale Hollow Lake is one of the South’s cleanest lakes.
Formed by flooding the town of Willow Grove, people visit Dale Hollow to dive the ruins of the town that was left behind. The clean, clear water provides them with a pristine view of ruins like this… the foundation of the old schoolhouse.
Dale Hollow is also exceptional for fishing! We currently hold the world record for Small Mouth Bass!
You can rent boats of all sizes and types at any of the many marinas on the lake. There are recreation areas for beaching and enjoying playgrounds, as well as many shale beaches for exploring. Coves are plentiful and make perfect spots for anchoring and spending an afternoon in the shade.
